The Name Behind the Brand
Poka isn't just a name — it carries meaning. It comes from Mpako, a word in Igbo, the language of our founder's Nigerian background. Mpako means confidence. From the very beginning, confidence wasn't just our goal. Its who we are.
Our Vision
By the time we reach our 10th drop, we want to donate the full profit to people who need it more than we do. Because at the end of the day, we are just grateful to be in a position to give back.

We know what it feels like to want something nice but not be able to pay the price. There are already enough brands charging too much — we're not one of them. At Pokaclothings, you get quality you can feel and a price you can afford.
The Founder (personal)
My name is Naddy, I'm 19 years old — and Pokaclothings is everything I've worked for.
It all started when I was younger (12) I couldn't afford expensive clothes, so I wore no-name or fake pieces. People in school didn't take me serious and I even got laughed at for it. But instead of giving up, I threw myself into fashion — learning everything I could. At 15, I founded my first clothing brand as a school project. It didn't go further back then, but the idea never left me.

Over the years I became obsessed. During my apprenticeship I got really good at finding fake quality clothes at the right price (pandabuy) — and the same people which once laughed at me started asking for advice in clothes. That's when something clicked: clothing wasn't just fabric to me. It gave me confidence. Growing up without it, I know exactly how much the right outfit can change how you carry yourself. I found my confidence through clothes — and I wanted to share that feeling with others.

So I started again. Designing, building, grinding — mostly alone. It hasn't been easy. I've invested a lot of time and money, and not everything has come back yet. But I keep going. Because I know where this is headed.
